This is a great opportunity for someone wanting a 30 hour a week role at the Department of Conservation in Hamilton!

 

This new 12 month fixed-term role provides PA and administrative support to the Planning, Permissions and Land team. We're a friendly and collegial team and looking for someone who is very organised to keep us ticking along and on track.

 

Ideally, the successful candidate would have a background/interest in administration who is looking to develop their skill-set within a supportive and complex working environment.

 

The work includes:

  • Administrative and personal assistance to two Managers – diary and email management, meeting support, drafting correspondence and arranging travel.
  • Administrative support to the team – support the team with organising public hearings, organising team events, minute taking, and document management
  • Filling in for the functions of the other Statutory Support Officer when they are on leave.

 

Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
