The Geraldine District office is seeking a motivated and suitability experienced person to fill a permanent position in the Visitor Asset and Historic team.
This role will assist in the delivery of managing and maintaining the district's huts, tracks, historic sites, campgrounds and amenity areas to meet visitor standards and expectations. A significant component of the role will be the coordination of the hut and camp ground warden programme.
You will be able to work effectively either independently or in a team environment where you may be responsible for delivering positive results as a team leader. The position is primarily field focused so having good outdoor abilities and skills and being physically fit is preferable.
Some knowledge of the practicalities of construction and maintenance work relating to roads, carparks, amenity areas, huts, tracks and structures is required. Competence in the use of field equipment, including mowers, power carriers, scrub bars and chainsaws is essential.
