He angitūtanga | About the role
You'll play a pivotal role within our finance team providing day-to-day support to the Accounts Team Lead to deliver high quality transaction processing services to the business.
The position will be focussed on:
- Monitoring invoice processing, assigning tasks, and reconciling monthly statements.
- Weekly reporting to Accounts Team Lead on invoice processing status.
- Mentoring and coaching Accounts Payable Officers.
- Providing guidance on processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and training.
- Identifying and addressing critical issues and risks proactively.
- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
Attention to detail, proficiency in financial systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential for this role. If you have some of following, we are keen to hear from you:
- 3-4 years previous Accounts Payable experience with sound knowledge of Accounts Payable best practice in a Procure to Pay environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and work collaboratively, sharing knowledge effectively with other team members.
- Ability to collaborate and interact productively with a wide range of people.
- Able to plan and organise work to meet objectives with high personal and professional standards.
- Experience and understanding of GR/IR clearing.
- Experience working in a Procure to Pay environment.
- Understanding the importance of the Māori Crown relationship.
Desirable:
- Proficiency with SAP 4Hana or experience working in a large ERP system.
