We have a permanent opportunity available for an experienced Senior Recruiter based in Hamilton. You'll join our busy internal recruitment team based across the country - Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, New Plymouth, Christchurch and Invercargill.

He angitūtanga | About the role

Our Senior Recruitment Advisor manages a large multidisciplinary portfolio supporting leaders with recruitment strategy, sourcing and best practice advice. The role is fast paced supporting a broad stakeholder group including operational, technical and corporate disciplines. You'll connect with people all over Aotearoa and learn about our conservation mahi.

Part of a new and evolving internal function our Senior Advisors are influencing best practice recruitment and providing hands on end to end recruitment support to their stakeholders.


Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

You will have a track record as a successful recruitment professional, ideally in-house. Experience in senior level business partnering and sourcing are essential as well as a passion for inclusive hiring. Experience managing operational recruitment, planning and delivery in large organisations would be a particular advantage. 

You are well versed in recruitment systems, best practice advice and talent attraction. You will be able to hit the ground running and adept at balancing a varied and demanding workload, providing hands on support to your hiring managers. It is important that you are well organised and action oriented, as well as being a quick learner when needed. A passion for Te Papa Atawhai's Kaupapa is essential as well as understanding of Māori Tikanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
