We are recruiting for a temporary Ranger to be based out of Motueka.

 

Your duties will include maintenance of tracks and structures, plus cleaning and servicing of huts and campsites. The role will frequently involve living and working in the back country for up to 10 days at a time. A high level of fitness and the ability to work for extended periods in isolated field situations, in a physically demanding role, is essential.

 

Experience working with scrub bars, is required. A current first aid certificate and driver license is important. Good communications skills and an ability to get on with people in a team environment is critical to the role.

 

The job starts on 15 October 2018 and ends on 26 June 2020.

 

Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
