The Department of Conservation, Tongariro District, is looking for two enthusiastic and focused individuals to undertake weed control operations in Tongariro National Park and surrounding public conservation land within the rohe of Ngāti Rangi and Ngāti Uenuku.

The positions are a uniformed vacancy with the Department on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

The successful applicants will undertake the control of Darwin's Barberry, Chilean Flame Creeper, Gorse, Broom and wilding pine. Applicants must have a current full drivers licence, experience in weed control, and will need to undertake a pre-employment drug test. The ideal applicants will have personal affiliations with the Ruapehu area.
