Are you someone who is passionate about the conservation of New Zealand's natural flora and fauna, skilled at field delivery and passionate about sharing your skills and knowledge with others? If yes, then this is the job for you.

As a Ranger, Operations (Biodiversity) you will be actively working across a range of different projects including:

  • Weed management
  • Threatened plant management
  • coaching, supporting and/or overseeing Rangers, community groups and volunteers doing conservation work.

The successful applicant will have

  • experience in weed management
  • specialist experience/qualifications in threatened plant management
  • current First Aid Certificate, LUV and 4WD experience are desirable
  • A full drivers licence is essential
  • computer skills including GIS and Microsoft applications
