This is a part-time 12 month temporary fixed-term role (30 hours per week)

If yes, this is the job for you! Join us as a Regional Business Support team member, in the Hauraki Waikato Taranaki Operations region.


Integral to our team, the key purpose of your role is to work with the Improvement Manager providing business support to the regional leadership team. You will have strong skills in people management systems such as recruitment and induction, and training coordination. You will also be highly organised with excellent time management skills, be tech-savyy and most importantly have a ‘can do attitude'.


You'll play a vital role in keeping things humming, and in making sure our district teams are well supported, particularly in their recruitment needs.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out a range of business support functions to support the regional leadership team, such as supporting recruitment,  induction programmes, and developing role induction and plans
  • Providing coordination of training requirements across the districts to create efficiencies and timely training requirements


The ideal applicant will be a reliable team player with:

  • Knowledge and experience in people management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • A skill set that supports being organised, efficient and great at delivering on time
  • The ability to use their initiative and independent judgement to progress complex issues


This is a regional role so travel between our district offices (New Plymouth, Te Kuiti, Whitianga, Thames and Hamilton) will be required.  There is some flexibility with hours between start and finish times to suit the successful candidate.


Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
