We are seeking an organised, capable administrator who loves working with people. This role is based in our Hamilton Hub, during the working hours of 8am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday for the period May, 2019 through to 31st January 2020.


You will be part of a wider regional administration team who are vital to the operation of our organisation. You will be a self-starter that supports conservation growth and being the focal point of the office will mean that you will need to react to customer requirements from the Public as well as across a range of roles in the Department.


We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • a qualification in business/office administration or equivalent experience
  • proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive material with discretion
  • an understanding of the work of the Department and how it contributes to New Zealand's future sustainability
  • high level organisation skills, the ability to deliver on time and solve problems as they arise
  • a thorough knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory, including a valid work visa covering the whole period of employment if applying internationally.
