Do you enjoy working to support others to be successful – do you always put the customer first, and strive to provide a professional service? If this sounds like you, the Department of Conservation wants to talk to you about a fantastic opportunity based in Rotorua.

 

We are seeking an organised, capable administrator who loves working with people.

 

You will be part of a wider regional administration team who are vital to the operation of our organisation. You will be a self-starter that supports conservation growth and being the focal point of the office will mean that you will need to react to customer requirements from the Public as well as across a range of roles in the Department.

 

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • a qualification in business/office administration or equivalent experience
  • proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive material with discretion
  • an understanding of the work of the Department and how it contributes to New Zealand's future sustainability
  • high level organisation skills, the ability to deliver on time and solve problems as they arise
  • a thorough knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
