The Department of Conservation is the central government agency charged with managing New Zealand's natural, historic and cultural heritage on behalf of all New Zealanders. DOC's Information Systems and Services staff help design, deliver and support the technology needed to accomplish DOC's ambitious goals.


The Role

As our next Senior Vendor Management Advisor, you will be a trusted advisor who guides decision makers by providing sound principled advice.  An integral member of the Digital Services Assurance team, you will work closely with the management team to support their vendor engagements. 


About You

This appointment requires a serviced focused individual with experience in delivery and relationship management.    


Specific Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong experience in building and sustaining relationships
  • Strong understanding of service delivery and contractual obligations with a focus on service improvement
  • Understanding of commercial acumen
  • Highly motivated, with great attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience of information systems across several platforms and technologies and how enterprise systems support business processes would be beneficial.
